Overview

VedaSuite AI provides Shopify merchants with fraud and return-abuse intelligence, competitor monitoring, pricing recommendations, shopper trust scoring and profit optimization tooling.

Data we process

Depending on merchant configuration and the installed access scopes, VedaSuite AI may process:

• store domain and app installation metadata
• Shopify orders and order values
• Shopify customer identifiers and customer contact data
• refund and return behaviour
• fraud-related signals used for merchant decision support
• merchant-defined settings and the competitor domains you choose to track

Purpose of processing

We process merchant and storefront-related data to:

• provide fraud and return-abuse detection
• generate pricing and margin recommendations
• generate shopper trust and risk insights
• monitor competitor activity configured by the merchant
• generate reporting for the merchant
• operate billing, support, compliance and product security workflows

Data retention

We retain data only as long as needed to provide the service, comply with legal obligations and respond to merchant requests. Compliance and uninstall workflows remove or redact data where required by Shopify and applicable law.

Data sharing

We do not sell merchant or customer data. Data may be processed by infrastructure, hosting, analytics and database providers acting on our behalf. Shared fraud intelligence, if enabled by a merchant, is anonymized before sharing.

Shared fraud intelligence

If shared fraud intelligence is enabled, the feature remains opt-in and is limited to anonymized or pseudonymized fraud indicators. Raw customer contact data is not exposed cross-merchant through this workflow.

International processing

Data may be processed in jurisdictions other than the merchant's location. Where required, reasonable contractual, organizational and technical safeguards are applied.

Shopify compliance

VedaSuite AI supports Shopify compliance webhook handling for customer data requests, customer redact requests and shop redact requests.

Security

We use reasonable technical and organizational safeguards to protect data. No method of storage or transmission is guaranteed to be completely secure.
